Drive-thru Chili

Simple chili, no masa.

Ingredient

Food ration :

Cooking time :

105 minutes
2 pounds

Ground beef

1 quart

tomato juice

1 1/2 cup

onion (chopped)

1/4 cup

chili powder

1 teaspoon

cumin

2 teaspoons

garlic powder

2 teaspoons

salt

1 1/2 teaspoons

black pepper

1 teaspoon

ground oregano

1/2 teaspoon

sugar

1/4 teaspoon

cayenne pepper

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Saute ground beef with onion, celery, bell pepper, salt and pepper.

* Step 2

Drain beef mixture and add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil.

* Step 3

Simmer for 1 1/2 hours stirring every 15 minutes.
