Homemade Pumpkin pie from scratch

Who doesn't love pumpkin pie? I know I do!! I had received a pie pumpkin and offered it to my son. I ended up making Thanksgiving dinner and made the pie (crust and all) from scratch. This was going beautifully until I discovered no milk of any kind in the house, Time to improvise!

Ingredient

Food ration :

6-8 depending on slices
2 2/3 Cups

flour

1 tsp

salt

1 cup

Crisco

6-7 Tbsp

water

1/2 tsp

cinnamon

1 tsp

vanilla

1/2 tsp

Nutmeg

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Combine all ingredients of the crust and mix well, turn put on to floured board and roll out to make a pie shell

* Step 2

Combine in Ninja Blender all ingredients above for filling and puree until it stops.

* Step 3

Pour pumpkin mixture in shell and bake @ 350 until done. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes and place in fridge until ready to eat.
