Mandys boiled ham

Pat said her mam made this earlier so this is my version

Ingredient

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Place ham fillet in large pot cover with cold water bring to a boil then pour out the hot water and replace with cold. This removes excessive salt

* Step 2

Bring to a boil again then simmer for 2 hours until it reaches an internal temperature of 170℉/77℃ (insure that the water doesn't boil dry, top it up with hot kettle water during the cooking)

* Step 3

Remove from water and allow to cool for at least 30 minutes covered in foil then remove unwanted fat and slice to Ur own preference

* Step 4
