Easy, with very few ingredients, a yummy festive sweet treat for all

Ingredient

4 tablespoon

ghee

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Melt 2 tablespoon ghee in a non stick pan

* Step 2

Add the entire content of condensed milk in the pan

* Step 3

Mix and let simmer for 2 minutes

* Step 4

Add the milk powder now and mix well

* Step 5

On Low heat keep stirring constantly till the whole mix comes together

* Step 6

Once done, add the remaining ghee and saffron soaked milk

* Step 7

Mix well for 1-2 minutes

* Step 8

Take off heat and let the mixture turn a little cooler

* Step 9

Grease your palms and scoop out desired quantity of the mixture while still warm

* Step 10

Roll into a ball and gently press down with peda press to create desired designs

* Step 11

Cool completely and store airtight

* Step 12

Leftovers can be refrigerated

* Step 13

Tip: if using powdered nuts, add it with the saffron milk to the mixture

* Step 14

Tip: the pedas can be decorated with sliced pistachios and almonds too
