Peanut Chutney & Cheese Sandwich

Brown Bread

1 tsp

Butter

4-5 cloves

Garlic

1 inch

Ginger

1/4 tsp

Salt

1/2 cup

Water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Firstly, to make the peanut chutney: Roast the peanuts. Remove the skin and set aside. Keep the remaining ingredients ready.

Add the peanuts to a blender and blend it. Add ginger, garlic, green chillies and salt and blend it. Next add little water at a time and blend to a smooth paste.

Apply butter on both sides of the bread slices and toast till golden colour.

Apply peanut chutney on one toasted bread slice.

Place a cheese slice over the peanut chutney.

Cover with the other toasted bread slice.

Cut into half and serve.

To make it more delicious, you can give tadka to the chutney: Heat oil. Add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle. Add curry leaves. Add dry red chillies and asafoetida. Pour the tempering over the chutney and mix.

It taste good with parathas.

Sandwich was yummy with the peanut chutney and cheese. You can also serve the peanut chutney with idli, dosa, vada, paniyaram, rice, roti, paratha, bread, savoury pancakes etc.
