Cinnamon Lemon Ginger Tea

#spiceweek3 #cinnamon Cinnamon is widely used in cooking and has immense health benefits. Cinnamon tea is made by infusing Cinnamon powder or sticks or tea bags. This herbal tea by itself is sweet, spicy, and flavourful. But can also be brewed with true tea leaves. Adding honey, sugar, or artificial sweetener is a personal choice. As it is Cinnamon has immense health benefits: It has lots of anti-fungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties, regulates blood sugar, cures sore throat, aids in digestive ailments, and is a wonderful drink to effectively lose weight fast. Best time to enjoy this drink is early morning or in between meals.

Ingredient

1 stick

cinnamon

1/2 inch

ginger grated

3 cups

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil water in a saucepan. Add a stick of cinnamon in it, simmer and let it steep in it for 6-7 minutes till the color of water changes to golden or light brown. Boil the water and add 2 tsp tea leaves. Add 1/2 tsp grated ginger and simmer for a minute. Cover and steep it for 2 minutes.

Strain the tea in a strainer and serve brewing hot and healthy herbal cinnamon ginger tea with a slice of lemon wedge. Adding sugar, artificial sweetener or honey is a personal choice. Enjoy this flavourful herbal drink early in the morning or in between meals.
