Begun diye Rui Maach/Rohu Fish with Eggplant

Ingredient

Food ration :

3-4 pieces

rohu fish

4 tbsp

mustard oil

1/4 th tsp

kalonji/nigella

1/2 tsp

turmeric

1/4 th tsp

red chilli powder

To taste

salt

1 cup

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Clean and smear little salt and turmeric to the fish.Cube brinjal.Heat oil and fry the fish golden brown.Fry the cubed brinjals.Set aside. Sprinkle kalonji. When they splutter, add the fish, brinjal and 1 cup water. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, tomato puree and salt to taste. Add water; broken green chillies and boil for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander. Enjoy delicious and light rohu fish curry with a plate of steaming hot rice.
