# festival dessert It's a sweet dessert very popular in different states of India and done mostly on different festivals like Diwali or Durgapuja.

Ingredient

100 gms

flour

1 tbsp

curd

250 gms

sugar

1 tsp

sauf

1 tbsp

raisins

1 cup

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil milk till half the quantity.Add sauf and green cardamom powder.When little cool add flour,curd and semolina.Let it stand for sometime.Add raisins.

* Step 2

Heat refined oil in a non stick and pour a ladle full of the batter and fry till golden brown.

* Step 3

Meanwhile make a chasni (sugar syrup) by boiling the sugar. Dip the malpuas in this syrup till soft.

* Step 4

Garnishing with chopped almonds or pistachio is optional.Serve.
