Greek tzatziki dip sauce πŸ‡¬πŸ‡·πŸ˜‹ & How to make homemade Greek yogurt from unsweetened plain yogurt

Greek yogurt is not always available in the supermarket near my house. And it can be expensive too. Therefore, I searched how I can substitute it in Cookpad Japan and found a recipe to make homemade Green yogurt by myself!! (The only difference between the two yogurts is that the liquid whey remains in regular yogurt.)

Ingredient

Food ration :

1 small cup
5 cm

Cucumber

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Place a strainer over a bowl. Place a kitchen paper on the strainer and add plain yogurt on it. Add a pinch of salt.

* Step 2

Just leave it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

* Step 3

Grate the cucumber and remove the excess moisture by squeezing as well as using a kitchen paper. Put the cucumber in to the bowl. Add pepper, grated garlic and olive oil.

* Step 4

Mix well and the sauce is ready to be enjoyed with your meat or bread!!
