Pumpkin Besan Ladoo
Give a twist of Pumpkin to your regular besan ladoos.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Sieve the besan. Add the flour in a pan and lightly roast it over low heat till you get a nice aroma.
* Step 2
Sauté grated pumpkin separately for a few minutes in a pan to remove the raw smell.
* Step 3
Now combine flour, sautéed pumpkin, milk and sugar in a pan.
* Step 4
Mix it well to ensure there are no lumps.
* Step 5
Place the pan over medium heat and stir continuously for few minutes till the mixture starts to thicken.
* Step 6
Add the ghee, simmer the heat and stir for few more minutes.
* Step 7
Now you'll see it bubbling and ghee leaving on the sides.
* Step 8
When it gets thicker, turn off the heat.
* Step 9
Add cardamom powder and leave it to cool down.
* Step 10
Add chopped nuts and mix well.
* Step 11
Grease your palm with little ghee and start making small sized ladoos from the mixture.
* Step 12
Roll the ladoos over dessicated coconut.
