Spicy fish balls

Monsoon season calls for eating fried foods. This homemade spicy deep fried fish balls are perfect as any party starter or a perfect companion for your evening tea.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
At first boil the fish pieces with pinch of turmeric powder & 1 teaspoon salt. Then take out the fish bones(if there any) & mash the fish pieces.
* Step 2
Now boil 2 potatoes & mash those.Mix it with the mashed fish
* Step 3
Now add all the powder spices, little salt along with chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, chopped green chillies & chopped coriander leaves.Mix thoroughly.
* Step 4
Next add the cornflour to the fish mixture.
* Step 5
After that take small tennis ball like portion from the mixture and make round balls out of it.
* Step 6
Now heat up the oil in a wok or kadhai & deep fry 4-5 balls at a time on a medium flame.
* Step 7
Fry until it turns golden brown.
* Step 8
Finally serve hot with ketchup & onion cucumber salad.
