Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a cooker add soaked chana dal,add salt,add water.
* Step 2
Add termeric powder.now cover the lid and cook until 5-6 whistle.now dal is cooked.
* Step 3
Now take a pan add ghee,add cumin seeds,add red chilli powder,add chopped garlic
* Step 4
Add tomato,add red chilli powder,add salt
* Step 5
Add garam masala mix it well and add tomato powder
* Step 6
Add cooked chana dal,add powdered sugar mix it well.and cook for 10 min.dal is ready.
* Step 7
Take a big bowl add wheat flour,add all purpose flour,add semolina
* Step 8
Add carom seeds,add cumin seeds,add ghee and add water knead to a tight dough.
* Step 9
Take a small ball sized roll gently and cut into round cookie cutter /small bowl and prick with fork.
* Step 10
Take a pan add heat oil now ready to fry on medium flame.pakwan is ready.now take a pan add ghee,add dry red chilli,add asafoetida.now tadka is ready.
* Step 11
Pour the tadka over the dal and garnish with chopped onion.
