Whosayna’s Arvi Pantras

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Keep steamer on boil. Remove stems from the leaves and wash them. In a bowl put the ingredients from number one to seven mix well to a thick batter. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a baghar pan add sesame, cummin and mustard seeds, let it splutter then add to the batter and mix. Place a leaf on wrking table apply the batter generously on it, place other leaf on it and apply batter pile up 5-6 leaves. Now roll the layers of leaves like swill roll and pin up with toothpick. Do same for another 5-6 leaves.

* Step 2

When done keep the rolls for steaming till done. Remove and let it cool, cut 1/2 inches slices and keep in platter. Can either give vaghaar of mustard seeds, sesame, curry leaves and green chillies and pour over the arvi bhajias. Or just deep fry them.
