Instant sweet medu vada

#quickbf #ebook6 'Medu' is a Tamil wors which means 'soft'. The literally meaning of medu vada is "soft fritters". It is generally made out from urad dal and savoury in taste by soaking the dal in water for 3-4 hours. Today I made instant sweet medu vada by making powder of the urad dal. This is so easy and quick breakfast recipe. You can make these vadas within 10 minutes.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take the urad dal /urad in a mixture grinder and make powder of it.

Then add required amount of water to make a thick batter and mix salt in it.

Heat a wok with oil and put the batter in dropping way like pakodas in medium flame.

Cook till they become golden in colour.

Put all the vadas on a tissue paper for removal of extra oil.

In the meantime in another pan put sugar or Jaggery with water and allow it to melt completely till 1/2 strand consistency.

Then mix all the fried balls in it and mix it well. Switch off the flame. Now your Sweet medu vadas are ready.

Serve hot with garnishing some chopped pistachios on it.
