Gajar ka halwa

Ingredient

1 kg

carrot

3/4 cup

desi ghee

3/4 cup

sugar

1 liter

milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Grate the carrots with the help of grater and keep them aside.

* Step 2

Heat a pan and add ghee in it and roast the cashew nuts and raisins and keep them aside.

* Step 3

In that pan add the grated carrots and saute it for sometime and then cover the lid for sometime(at least15 minutes)

* Step 4

Then add milk in it and again saute it and add sugar in it.

* Step 5

Cook it till the milk completely absorbed.

* Step 6

Then add all the roasted dry fruits and cardamom powder, mix it and switch off the flame.

* Step 7

Your gajar halwa is now ready to serve. Serve hot with garnishing some pistachios and almonds.
