low calorie teriyaki chicken drumsticks

kid friendly but also not a diet killer. yes its dark meat but is skinless. Two pieces is around 200 calories.

Ingredient

2 tbsp

Brown sugar

1 tsp

ginger

1 1/2 tsp

cornstarch

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

preheat oven to 350°F

* Step 2

combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch in sauce pan. add 2 tablespoons of water

* Step 3

whisk over medium heat until thickened. about 2 minutes

* Step 4

coat casserole dish lightly with nonstick cooking spray

* Step 5

add chicken to dish and top with the prepared sauce

* Step 6

bake about 30 minutes or until juices run clear. I like to turn the broiler on for 5-10 minutes at the end to really caramelize the sauce.
