Chocolate Custard Bread Tartlets

Ingredient

1/3 cup

caster sugar

2 tbsp

corn flour

300 ml

cream

1 tbsp

icing sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Trim edges of bread. Using rolling pin, flatten them

* Step 2

Preheat oven to 170, grease tartlets or muffin mould

* Step 3

In small saucepan, combine caster sugar and cornflour; stir in cream. Cook, stirring, until mixture thickens. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring, 1 minute. Remove pan from heat. Add chocolate and egg yolks; stir until smooth. Keep it aside

* Step 4

Gently press the flattened bread into tartlets mild without breaking bread

* Step 5

Pour the custard mixture equally into bread cups

* Step 6

Bake for 10 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes. Dust with icing sugar. Serve
