Yazdi Persian Cupcakes

#Global Cuisine Middle eastern delicious cupcakes with flavours of cardamom and rose water topped with almonds and pistachios. This is a definitely must try cupcakes

Ingredient

1 teaspoon

baking powder

1 teaspoon

cardamom powder

1 teaspoon

rose water

2 tbsp

sugar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 180 and line muffin tin

* Step 2

Sieve flour and baking powder. Keep it aside

* Step 3

Beat eggs and sugar in a bowl for 10-12 minutes using hand or stand mixer

* Step 4

Add yoghurt, butter, cardamom and rose water to egg mixture and blend well

* Step 5

Slowly add dry ingredients and blend until well combined

* Step 6

Fold in 1/4 cup almonds to the batter and pour batter into prepared muffin tin. Garnish with 2 tbsp blanched slivered almonds and chopped pistachios

* Step 7

Bake for 18-25 minutes until golden brown and firm to touch

* Step 8

Allow to cool for 15 minutes. Demould and serve the delicious cupcakes
