Zaatar Toast Fingers for Soup Dipping

Much better than dipping cheese toasties! (In my opinion anyway as I can’t eat cheese 😉). Make sure your toast is extra crunchy before adding your oil and spice mix. I think these go particularly well with tomato soup.

Ingredient

zaatar

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix the zaatar spice with enough oil to give it a loose dropping consistency.

* Step 2

Toast the bread until it is golden and crunchy (as toasted as you can get without it burning).

* Step 3

Use a tsp to spread and drop the spice mix evenly over the toast. Be generous and add it all. Then use a sharp knife to cut into fingers.
