Salted Flax Crackers With Black Onion Seeds πŸ–€

I’ve been working on variations of these crackers and these are my favourite so far. I’m always looking for nutritious alternatives to bread and readymade crackers to serve as vehicles for nice things (like smashed avocado, pate and marmite). These are crunchy and tasty and do the job nicelyπŸ‘Œ

Ingredient

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl mix together the almonds, flax and onion seeds.

Then add enough water to bring the mix together in a dough. I used 4 tbsp of tap water.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Put the dough on the paper then place another sheet of paper on top. Gently roll the crackers out nice and thin, about 1/4 inch thick if possible.

* Step 4

Remove the top layer of paper and season with ground rock salt, pressing it gently into the surface with your hands. Bake in the oven for 25 mins until crunchy. Snap into small pieces to serve.
