Rava Idili With White Coconut Chutney

My evening punches during holidays.. i lov the combinatin of this chuney over the idli's..

Ingredient

Food ration :

1/2 cup

curd

1/2 tsp

lemon juice

1/2 cup

water

3/4 tsp

mustard

1 tsp

urad dal

1 tbspn

cashews

1 tbspn

ghee oil and

1 tsp

oil

1 sprig

curry leaves

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat a kadai add ghee and oil, splutter mustard and the rest under to temper table. then add the finely chopped ginger and chillies

* Step 2

Then add the sooji with curry leaves and corriander leaves to it and fry in a low flame taking care to not to change the colour of rava

* Step 3

After two min transfer to a bowl cool down and add  the curd, enough water, lemon juice, salt and mix well

* Step 4

Heat the idili cooker with water and let it be just ready for steaming and grease the idily plates with ghee or oil

* Step 5

At this time add the eno salt to the batter and mix well

* Step 6

Immediately pour into the idli moulds and steam foer 5 -7 minutes. insert a toothpick to check whether its done. the toothpick should come out clean.

* Step 7

Coconut chutney..

* Step 8

Grate cococnut, place it along with chilli, fried gram dal, salt and water in a blender to grind it untill smooth or desired consistency.
