Kooto atta - button idli pakora

#Mar #W4 Kooto atta- button idli pakora is totally different pakora from the regular pakoras, that we eat, because its shape they are absolutely ,attractive ,crisp and crunchy.I tried it for vrat recipes and gave its name –Button pakora ,because they look like buttons.Here is my own innovative navratri recipe

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings

Cooking time :

50 minutes
1 table spoon

fruit salt

2 table spoon

curd

for greasing

oil

to deep fry

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix curd, green chilies paste to taste and rock salt, black pepper to kootoAtta (buck wheat flour) and mix well.Make thick batter,use water if needed. Mix batter well,add fruit salt and mix well.

* Step 2

Add Add sufficient water to steamer and grease idli mold. Heat till water reach to boiling temperature. pour the mixture to idli mold.Steam till cooked about 7 minutes.When ready,cool and remove from button idlies from moulds.

Heat oil and deep fry till golden brown. Heat oil and deep fry till golden brown.place on absorbent paper.

* Step 4

Serve hot Kooto atta- button idli pakora with salad stick,dip and peanuts roasted.

Suggestion -Make one day before serving and keep in refrigerator,deep fry just before serving.
