Shepard's Pie

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray 4 quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray

* Step 2

In a large skillet, heat oil Iverson medium heat. Cook the onion in the oil until soft. Add the ground beef and cook 5 to 7 minutes stirring occasionally until thoroughly.

* Step 3

Add mixed vegetables, tomato paste, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes stirring frequently until vegetables are hot.

* Step 4

In a small bowl mix broth and flour with a whisk. Add mixture to beef and heat to a boil. Boil 3 minutes stirring frequently until thick.

* Step 5

Spoon beef mixture into the baking dish, and spread mashed potatoes over the top of the beef mix.

* Step 6

Bake 20 minutes or until potatoes are golden brown.
