Balushahi

Balushahi is Famous indian sweet which is made of flour and coated with sugar syrup. Then garnished with some sliced pistachios.It is so delicate that it melts down in your mouth.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 servings

Cooking time :

3 hours
1 1/2 cup

flour/ maida

1/4 tsp

Baking soda

1/4 cup

pure ghee

4 tbsp

Cold curd

2 cup

sugar

1 cup

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix flour and baking soda in a bowl

* Step 2

Add ghee and mix nicely till it becomes like bread crumbs.

* Step 3

Add water little by little and make thick or hard dough.

* Step 4

Keep it aside for min. 1-2 hours

* Step 5

For sugar syrup add sugar and water in a pan and make sugar syrup little thick not too thick..

* Step 6

Make small rough ball from the dough we made.

* Step 7

Press the flat ball at center and deep fry it in Ghee on low medium heat.

* Step 8

Add it in sugar syrup for couple of seconds and take it out.

* Step 9

Decorate with some sliced pistachios. Enjoy your Balushahi.
