Hamburger Cabbage Pierogi Casserole

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Melt butter in large fry pan, add cabbage, 1/2 onion, garlic, olives,ground pepper to taste
* Step 2
Brown ground beef with half the onion, drain --add spaghetti sauce, mix
* Step 3
Microwave 10-14 cheese pierogies to soften and warm (I spray plate with a little olive oil, add a splash of water, lay pierogies on large plate, then splash with more water.)
* Step 4
Spray 9×9 glass baking dish, layer warmed pierogies, hamburger mix, then cabbage mix, sprinkle with Mexican or shredded mix cheese (3/4-1cup)
* Step 5
Enjoy!! Yumm. A polish/Irish wanna be shepherds pie but better! We fried up some apples with cinnamon and sugar as a side. A warm cozy winter dish.
