Crab masala

This recipe is totally a big inspiration of my mum. My mum she was a wonderful cook , her speciality was crab definitely. I couldn’t recreate the way she would cook it , as i did not get the chance to learn it from her , sadly now she’s is no more , I had to recreate this dish so my dad would be able to enjoy good home cooked meal.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat up the pan, with some oil and add some sliced onions and the paste (pasted to blend) to this, keep stirring till raw smells goes off. Then add some curry leaves to this, next add the dry ingredients (powder form) to this,keep stirring it and sprinkle little water if needed to prevent it from burning.

* Step 2

Once its coated well add the coriander leaves to this, once the mixture is cooked well add the crab.keep stirring it and add some water to this (add water little by little).Later add the tomatoes to this and keep stirring, add the eggplants to it. Next close the lid and allow it cook

* Step 3

Occasionally keep stirring,keep in mind that crabs cook fast, so don’t over cook it. Once the oil starts separating and the crab is cooked, turn of the stove and voila garnish the crab with spring onions.
