Dry Shrimp Soup with bottle gourd

#NonVeg_Soup This dry shrimp soup is extremely flavorful and healthy with some vegetables like bottle gourd or lauki. If you like dry shrimp than I am sure you will like this very simple hearty soup that is a common soup served in Northeast region of India.

Ingredient

40 minutes
4-5 cloves

crushed Garlic

to taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and clean shrimps nicely.

* Step 2

Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a saucepan.

* Step 3

Add dry shrimp, crushed garlic and chopped fresh Red chilli.

Saute for a minute or two just to release flavor.

* Step 5

Pour 3 cups of hot water, salt and bottle gourd pieces.

* Step 6

Cover and cook for about 30 minutes in medium heat.

* Step 7

When vegetable cooks completely add slitted green chillies.

Cook for few minutes to release flavor of chillies.

* Step 9

Add some chopped coriander leaves, check salt and remove from heat.

Transfer immediately to serving bowls and serve immediately.
