Chocolate Chocolate Cake

Chocolate Chocolate Cake

This recipe came from my good friend Chef Glenn Walden and it goes great with the Best Chocolate Buttercream. Also great as a cupcakes.

Ingredient

Food ration :

2- 9 inch cakes
2 cups

sugar

1 3/4 cups

all-purpose flour

3/4 cup

cocoa powder

1 1/2 teaspoons

baking powder

1 1/2 teaspoons

baking soda

1 cup

milk

1 tablespoon

vanilla

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

* Step 2

Spray the 2 -9 inch cake pans lightly with pan spray and add 4 tablespoons of flour and coat the inside of the pan. Dump the flour into the second pan and repeat. Knock out the extra flour

* Step 3

Sift together, sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda.

* Step 4

Add eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes at a medium speed

* Step 5

On a low speed mix in the boiling water

* Step 6

Divide the batter between the two pans.

* Step 7

Bake in 2-9" round cake pans for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

* Step 8

Cool down as you would any cake and decorate the way you like:)
