Christmas leftover turkey pasta bake

It was mum’s suggestion to make this pasta using leftover turkey from yesterday’s Christmas dinner. It’s comforting, tasty and quick to make!

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cook the pasta as per the instructions on the pack
* Step 2
Melt butter in a saucepan on medium heat. Stir in flour and cook, stir constantly until you get a paste like texture. Add the milk gradually while whisking constantly. Continue to stir as the sauce thickens. Add a pinch of nutmeg, bring to boil and take off the heat. Add some cheddar cheese mix to combine.
* Step 3
Drain the pasta, add it to a baking tray, add cooked turkey, then pour over the béchamel sauce, and mix everything together. Make sure you spread the turkey and béchamel sauce evenly in the tray.
* Step 4
Top with your choice of cheese. I used Gruyère and cheddar cheese, with some piece of butter.
* Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes at 180C, with a few minutes at the end under the grill to give some golden colour to the cheese. Enjoy!
