Lebanese cheese rolls
Iftar in Ramadan with the family is never complete without sambousik, kibbeh and spring rolls. I’m adding this spring roll recipe as it’s the easiest and my favourite too.
You can add any types of cheese but make sure to use at least one salty whiye cheese that melts.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Spring rolls come in triangle shape here. If you’re using phyllo pastry cut it into smaller squares or triangles
* Step 2
Mix the cheese you’re using in a bowl with a handful of chopped parsley.
* Step 3
Add one teaspoon of the cheese mixture on the dough and fold as shown in the pictures
* Step 5
Roll, add the mixture of flour and water at the tip of the triangle and fold the rest of the roll
* Step 6
Using a brush, add some vegetable oil to the bottom of the tray, place the rolls, then brush their top with vegetable oil again.
* Step 7
Place in a preheated oven on 200C for 20 minutes, then grill the top to give the rolls a nice holden brown colour. You can deep fry as well or cook in an air fryer
