Watermelon Rind (Peel) Veg Momo

#cookpadindia #cookeverypart #peels I started making Watermelon Rind Veg Momo from the lockdown of year 2020 when Vegetables were in short supply.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 15-20 minutes till it's soft. Chop all the ingredients as listed above and mince the soya chunks too or use soya granules if you get.

For the watermelon Rind, after you grate, squeeze the water out of it (and add the water in soup if you are making or in curry later on) otherwise your stuffing will become very wet and we don't want wet kind of stuffing, as usually the stuffing for Veg or Non veg is usually uncooked, in the process of steaming it gets cooked but nowadays some people cook it.

* Step 3

Add all the ingredients now and mix first everything except the salt, add the salt after checking when you are about to make the momos. Let it rest in the fridge in the meantime you prepare the dough. Mix room temperature water to the flour as needed and knead it into a tight dough so that we don't need extra dry flour when we roll it out. Cover & Let it rest for 20-30 minutes. Then in the meanwhile prepare the Momo chutney.

* Step 4

Now take small dough balls and roll it out and fill the stuffing and make momos as per the shape you want to make and steam for 30 mins and serve hot with chutney and soup (optional).
