Choco Bar Ice cream

#mychildhoodrecipe #cookpadindia Fun to have ice cream when it's sunny out! This was priority in the ice cream list but since it was costlier than orange and strawberry ice cream, so it was given as a treat on special occasions...like the report card day in school Choco Bar during our days used to be Vanilla ice cream coated with chocolate. So here I have tried to recreate it and thoroughly enjoyed it too. Took me back to the childhood days ( my school). I have used Vanilla beans powder, you can use essence or extract too. #post26

15 mins plus

milk

1/2 cup

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix milk, cream and vanilla beans powder and cook for about 10 minutes. The mixture by then will get thickened and reduced. Then add cashew powder and mix well. Add the condensed milk too and mix well. Then pour it in the moulds. Let it cool to room temperature then freeze it preferably overnight.

Once frozen. Melt chocolate in microwave with short burst or the double boiler method. Once melted let it cool a bit and then pour it in a tumbler and let it come to room temperature. The chocolate should not be hot otherwise it will melt the ice cream. Demould the vanilla ice cream and dip in the melted chocolate. Your Choco Bar ice cream is ready to relish. Enjoy as I enjoyed ☺️
