#ga4 #week26 #orange I have used homemade sweetened mawa prepared with 1.250 litre Fullcream/fullfat buffalo milk and 60 gms sugar.and used only 200 gms of it to make this Burfi. I am giving the link below on how to make sweetened mawa at home.

Ingredient

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take the sweetened mawa, blended it in a mixie to smoothen it or smash it with your hand.after that put it in a nonstick pan and add the orange juice, orange zest, orange edible gel colour, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder, 1 tbsp ghee, 1-2 tbsps powdered/ crushed mixed nuts and cook till it reduced and thickens up.

* Step 2

In between grease a steel plate with ghee, pour the orange Mawa mix on the plate and spread it to the desired thickness, cool to room temperature and keep it in the fridge for 15 -20 minutes.then cut it into squares or rombus as you desire, garnish with pistachio and edible silver leaf (optional). Your orange burfi is ready to serve!
