Almond Milk- How to make vegan milk from scratch
Almond milk, Hemp milk, Soya milk etc. plant based milk are said to be vegan milk as no animal is involved in it .
You can easily make this vegan milk fresh at home from scratch in almost less than the price of the tetra pack milk available in the market.
With 100 gms of almond you can get 500 ml of fresh unsweetened calcium rich, Vitamin E rich , lactose free, preservatives and chemical free almond milk, which you can use as a milk substitute in many recipes and make delicious smoothies & shakes too.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Measure, wash and soak the almond, use warm water, soak for at least 4 hours, or till the almonds are soft.
* Step 2
Once the almond becomes soft and the skin comes off easily, peel the skin it takes about 30 minutes to peel this quantity.
* Step 3
Once peeled, put it in a mixer grinder jar/ blender and add 1.5 cups of water and grind it till almond are ground fine and blended well with the water. You can adjust the thickness of the almond milk as desired. If you want you can strain the milk to discard any chunky almond left behind.
* Step 4
Your 500 ml of #vegan almond milk is ready. You can substitute in place of dairy milk. You can add sugar and vanilla too if you want, I skipped it.
