Ingredient

12 cubes

paneer

1/2 tsp

turmeric

For

curry

1 tsp

cumin

1/2 inch

cinnamon

3 pods

cardamom

1/2 tsp

cumin powder

1 tsp

salt

1/2 cup

curd

2 cup

water

1/4 tsp

garam masala

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Firstly, in a pan heat 2 tsp oil, 1 tsp butter.

* Step 2

Add 12 cubes paneer, Β½ onion, ΒΌ tsp turmeric and Β½ tsp chilli powder.

* Step 3

Roast on low flame until the paneer and onions are roasted slightly. keep aside.

* Step 4

In a large Kadai heat 2 tbsp oil, and 1 tsp butter.

* Step 5

Add 1 tsp cumin, Β½ inch cinnamon, and 3 pods of cardamom.

* Step 6

Saute until the spices turn aromatic.

* Step 7

Now add 1 onion, and 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and saute until the onions turn golden brown.

* Step 8

Keep the flame on low add Β½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, Β½ tsp cumin powder, and 1 tsp salt.

* Step 9

Saute until the spices turn aromatic.

* Step 10

Further, add 2 tomatoes and saute until the tomatoes turn soft and mushy.

* Step 11

Add Β½ cup curd and mix continuously, until the oil starts to release from the sides.

* Step 12

Now add 2 cup of water and mix well adjusting the consistency.

* Step 13

Add in roasted paneer and onion, and mix gently.

* Step 14

Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or until the flavours are absorbed well.

* Step 15

Also add 2 tbsp coriander, 1 tsp Kasuri methi, and ΒΌ tsp garam masala. mix well.

* Step 16

Finally, enjoy paneer do pyaza with rice or roti.
