Creamy matar chicken

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Start by washing and marinating the chicken with the above-mentioned ingredients. Next prepare masala paste and keep aside.

* Step 2

Next place a kadhai with oil and heat it. Splutter cumin seeds. Put chopped onion. Fry till brownish. Next add the prepared masala paste. Add as needed salt. Mix and cook till masala leaves oil. Add little water as needed.

* Step 3

Next add the marinated chicken. Srir fry in medium to high heat for some time. Next cover and cook it till chicken is softened.

* Step 4

As chicken is cooked, add the blanched peas. Give a nice gentle mix. Let it cook without cover for some time. Next add chicken masala, little water and mix gently. Let all flavours combine well with each other.

* Step 5

Next add fresh cream. I have used Ghar ki malai. Churned it with little milk. Add the cream and give a mix. Let cream get well combined with all ingredients.

* Step 6

Next add garam masala. Mix it too. Add as much water needed as per your preference for the gravy. It's better not to make it runny.

* Step 7

Finally put kasuri methi and mix. Let the curry settle down for some time. Then give a nice gentle mix and serve hot
