Karela aloo fry (bitter gourd potatoes fry)

Ingredient

Food ration :

8-9 cloves

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash the potatoes and bitter gourds. Cut potatoes and keep them in water in a vessel to ward off extra starch. Cut the bitter into small pieces, put salt, turmeric, and mix. Keep it aside.

* Step 2

Now place a kadhai, put oil, and heat. Splutter mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and dry red chilies. Add pounded garlic, saute, next add chopped onion and saute till brownish. Next, add potatoes. Mix. Add salt and turmeric as required by potatoes. Mix. Cover and cook for some time.

* Step 3

Next check the bitter gourd. Lots of water must have come out. Discard that water. Squeeze the bitter gourd and put it into the kadhai. Mix. Cover and cook till both gourd and potatoes are softened.

* Step 4

Now add red chili powder and coriander powder. Mix. Fry till you get a nice color. It's ready... Serve with hot rice.
