Cranberry Tea
Went to bake my cranberry bread and realized I forgot to buy cranberry juice so I did a quick decoction and had a cup of tea as well. I like to add ginger root when I'm sick
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
On stove top heat water to a simmer.
* Step 2
Add cranberries and gently simmer for 10 - 15 minutes.
* Step 3
Strain. I use the insert from my teapot but a small sieve works as well.
* Step 4
Sweeten with honey or sugar if desired, you can also add fresh ginger root and/or cinnamon stick if desired.
* Step 5
Enjoy! You can also chill for a refreshing juice.
