Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First make the onion masala paste and set aside.
* Step 2
Heat oil in a deep pan. Add ponch phutan and allow to splutter. Add the onion masala paste and saute till oil separate from masala.
* Step 3
Next, add half cup of water and rest other dry masala powder mentioned including sugar.
* Step 4
Saute in slow heat till all masalas come together.
* Step 5
Add the boiled chana, adjust the water for gravy and also the seasoning. Allow to boil. Garnish with chopped green coriander leaves and serve hot with zeera rice/Naan.
