French Beans Fry (South Indian Style)

1/4 tsp

hing powder

1 tsp

chana dal

1.5 tsp

urad dal

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Heat oil in kadhai. When hot add and allow to splutter mustard seeds. Then add curry leaves,dry chilli and saute for 30 seconds. Add both the dals. Saute for some seconds.

Now add onion and green chilli, hing powder. Mix well and saute till onions are translucent.

Add the chopped French beans and potatoes, turmeric and salt. Mix well, cover the kadhai, slow down the flame and cook. It takes 7-10 minutes as per the chopped size of French beans.

Serve hot,the delicious and flavourful French beans fry with phulka or as a side dish with steamed rice.
