This one’s the traditional & official Qahwa Coffee from the land- This is served as the ‘Welcome Drink’ therein as a part of their traditional culture
Ingredient
Food ration :
2 peopleCooking time :
30 mins.
4 Cups
Water: RT
1/4 tsp
Saffron Strands: Roughly Pounded
1/2 tsp
Ginger: Finely Chopped- Optional
1 tsp
Green Cardamom Powder
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a Saucepan or pot: Add in the required measured water & rest all other dry whole spices mentioned above and allow it to come to a rolling boil once & then, add in the Coffee Powder or the Homemade Ground Coffee (Anyone)….
* Step 2
Allow it to cook at rolling boiling point for the next 20 mins time before straining it into a pitcher/tumbler or similar to pour it out into the respective individual cups while serving, afterwards…
* Step 3
As per the Arabic tradition & culture it’s served in the DALLAH- Which’s actually the entire Qahwah Coffee ☕️ set that’s prevalent in the land to serve this to not only welcome their guests but to have the same in it, for themselves too 👍🏻

Lightly Toasted Coffee Beans (That’s how it’s ideally used in the land, however I’ve used the same in its powder form & is store-bought)
Caster Sugar or Honey: Optional (Ideally not used, however can be used to customise as per your own taste & choice)
