Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and soak rice and dal for 5-6 hrs. Strain all water after soaking hrs. Now take a grinder add green chillies, ginger, rice and dal, curd. Grind smooth and corsely

* Step 2

Take out the batter in mixing bowl. Add salt whisk it properly so we get nice smooth corse batter.(No need to add water.)keep a side for 15 min.

* Step 3

When u want to make dhokla in batter add baking soda and 2-3 tsp of water to mix it well.

* Step 4

Take steamer add water and place ring, keep it on medium flame. Grease the plate add batter tap it. Sprinkle red chilli powder, cumin seeds, pepper powder on batter. Put plate on the ring in steamer. Close the lid make high flame. Get it steam for 10-15 min.

* Step 5

Take out the plate. Spread 2 tsp of ground nut oil to the dhokla and cut the piece. Serve hot with Ketchup or green chutney.
