Suran Koftas made in Appe Pan with Smoky Flavoured Makhani Gravy
This is yummy koftas which are non fried and in yummy makhani gravy and I have given smoky flavor to it because my family loves it..

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
For making Koftas.. Grate Suran or Yam. All all masalas with boiled potatoes and besan and mix well.
* Step 2
Make small balls.. and place it on Appe Pan which we have to grease it with oil.
* Step 3
Cook it on low flame.. and flip the side when it is golden brown. It will take some time.
* Step 4
Till then..take one pan or kadhi whichever is convenient.. add one teaspoon oil.. put onions and saute till transculent. To it add ginger, garlic and green chillies.
* Step 5
Now add tomatoes and cover for 5 mins till it gets soft. Add some water and cook for 10 15 minutes in slow flame. Let the mixture gets cool down.
* Step 6
After this grind it in the mixer and strain it.
* Step 7
Take same pan add ghee or butter or oil as per ur choice. Add whole garam Masala and pour the gravy.. cook it for some time.
* Step 8
Now add cashew paste to it. Stir continuously. Cover and cook for 5 to 8 mins. Add water as per requirement if u feel gravy is thick.
* Step 9
Heat the charcoal on gas until it turns red. lace it in on one katori pour half teaspoon ghee over it and cover immediately to get the smoky flavour. Keep it for 5 mins.
* Step 10
Now gravy is ready to be served with Koftas. Serve it with hot Naans
