Mushroom sauce

Love my mushroom sauce, great in anything but steaks are the best! Can even add cream and garlic to make a creamy garlic sauce :)

Ingredient

20 mins
1 cup

water

200 ml

red wine

2 tbsp

butter

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut mushrooms into thin slices

* Step 2

Boil water and make a slurry with your gravy powder then add to boiling water to make a gravy.

* Step 3

While gravy is slowly simmering put your red wine in separate pot and cook out for 5 mins or until alcohol is out

* Step 4

Once red wine has cooked down add your now thicker gravy to your red wine and stir through and sit aside

Now in pan add your butter and mushrooms and cook through until mushrooms are solf

* Step 6

Once mushrooms are soft add your gravy you had sitting aside and let simmer for 3 mins so mushroom flavour goes though gravy then Walla!

* Step 7

Mushroom sauce is done. Cook until ur thickness of sauce is liked
