Eggnog
You can enjoy it hot or cold. Spice it up with some rum.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a pot add half the milk (500ml).
* Step 2
Add the cinnamon stick and bring to a simmer on low heat.
* Step 3
In a bowl whisk the eggs and white sugar.
* Step 4
As soon as the milk starts boiling, remove the cinnamon stick. Pour a third of the milk into the egg mixture and whisk.
* Step 5
Pour the egg mixture back into the pot and cook on low heat while continuously mixing. As soon as the mixture thickens and the bubbles are gone the custard should be cooked.
* Step 6
In another bowl mix the other half of milk (500ml), evaporated milk and vanilla essence. Mix into the custard. Adjust the taste with nutmeg.
