Asian Prawn Burger

Asian Prawn Burger

This has to be one of the easiest and one of the best burgers that I've ever made!

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl, put prawns, lemon juice, red chilli sauce and paste of 1 garlic. Mix well and leave aside to marinade for 5/10 mins.

* Step 2

Note: Do not marinade the prawns for more than 5/10 mins as the citric acid in lemon will start to cure your prawns and they'll become tough and rubbery if left for longer.

* Step 3

Heat a griddle pan and cook the prawns. 1 minute on each side would be sufficient.

Now in another bowl, toss the already cooked prawns with Thai sweet chilli sauce.

* Step 5

Lightly toast a sesame bun in the meantime by applying some oil/butter.

Place your bun, put crunchy fresh lettuce on top, then place the prawns. Add more chilli sauce, if you like it spicy.

* Step 7

Place the other half of the burger bun on top and serve hot.

* Step 8

Don't forget to squeeze some lemon juice on your prawns before consuming. Citrus brings out the best flavours in seafood.
