Sweet & sour chicken
Sweet and Sour Chicken with crispy chicken, pineapple and bell peppers is a classic Chinese takeout option most of us are too afraid to make at home. Something about woks and cooking with pineapple make it intimidating for most, but it is so much easier to make than you would think.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cut the chicken into bite size and season with salt and garlic powder. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
* Step 2
Add ¼ cup cornstarch and toss to coat each piece of chicken evenly.
* Step 3
In a bowl combine ketchup. Brown sugar, vinegar, water, soy sauce, and remaining cornstarch and set aside.
* Step 4
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
* Step 5
Add chicken, in batches, and fry each side for 5 minutes or until golden brown on both sides. Remove to paper towel.
* Step 6
Discard excess oil, leaving about 1-2 tablespoon.
* Step 7
Heat over medium heat and fry the onion, bell peppers and pineapple for 45 seconds.
* Step 8
Pour in the sauce and simmer to thicken.
* Step 9
Add the fried chicken and mix well.
* Step 10
Remove and garnish with sesame and green onion.
* Step 11
Serve with egg fried rice.
