Air fryer shish tawook

Shish Tawook is one of the tastiest Middle Eastern chicken Kabobs around. Shish means skewers and Tawook means chicken.

Ingredient

Food ration :

2-4 servings

Cooking time :

30minutes
15 cloves

garlic, crushed

6 tbsp.

yogurt

6 tbsp.

olive oil

1/3 tsp.

ginger powder

1/2 tsp.

oregano

1/3 tsp.

paprika

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cut chicken breast into cubes – about 1 inch in size.

* Step 2

In a large bowl, mix together all the remaining ingredients.

* Step 3

Add the chicken to the marinade and toss to coat completely. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.

* Step 4

Carefully thread the chicken onto the skewers. If using bamboo skewers, remember to soak them for 30 minutes.

* Step 5

Line the basket with parchment paper or grease air fryer basket with 1 tablespoon oil. Alternately, spray the kabobs with oil spray.

* Step 6

Working in batches, place the chicken in a single layer and set the temperature to 200C (360F) and cook for 20-30 minutes, flipping the chicken after 15 minutes.

* Step 7

Remove and rest 5 minutes before serving.
