Wheat Almond Biscotti

Kids love cookies and biscuits! But market-bought baked goodies are made with refined flour mostly. So why not bake them at home with complete whole wheat flour and healthy almonds? Good for brains, energy, and protein-rich, these Biscotti will be relished fast always! Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First, assemble all the ingredients and measure them. Sieve the flour and baking powder.

* Step 2

Now combine milk solids and jaggery and mix with a spatula till creamy. Then add the sieved flour mix, and almonds cardamom powder and keep mixing and rubbing with a spatula till you have a breadcrumb-like texture.

Now add milk and bind to a rough dough. Then roll it into a cylindrical shape, wrap it into cling film, twist the ends, and refrigerate for 1 hour.

* Step 4

Then cut into round shapes. Preheat oven as mentioned above. Arrange the Biscotti on the tray and press a piece of almond on top of each one.

* Step 5

Bake for 10 minutes. Then remove, press well with help of a flat spoon, and bake again for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove, cool on a wire rack, and enjoy when they firm up. Tip: you can make larger size pieces, cut them in half after first baking and then bake again for 8 to 10 minutes. Your Wheat almond Biscotti will be loved by all!
