Making Toor dal with spinach and some spices make it more healthy and tasty .
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First wash the toor dal and soaked in water for half hour.meanwhile wash the spinach and chopped it finely chopped the onion,green chillies,ginger and garlic.roughly chopped the tomatoes.
* Step 2
In a pressure cooker add oil heat it.add whole spices and asafoetida saute 30 seconds.add finely chopped ginger garlic saute 1 minute.then add green chillies and onion cooked until they turn light pink.then add tomatoes.add powder spices and mix well.
* Step 3
Add chopped spinach mix again cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Now add soaked dal,add water and salt.mix and cover. Pressure cook for 2 whistle on high flame.turn off the gas. Let's cool it.
* Step 4
Now open the cooker.dal has perfectly cooked. You can add more water as your desire consistency. Serve the dal with roti or rice.
